Currently, you can find her teaching in one of New Jersey's largest public school districts. Before that she was on faculty at Steps on Broadway for over fifteen years. She has been on faculty for the Hawaii International Dance Festival and The American Academy of Ballet. She has taught at many schools in the tri-state area as well as privately coaching many rising new stars. In addition, she continues to travel as guest teacher, judge, and choreographer across the U.S., Canada and Malaysia where she taught and choreographed for a benefit raising money for cancer.
As a teacher her dynamic and unique style enables her to reach dancers of all ages and levels. Whether she is teaching jazz, modern, or tap her classes are structured to heighten awareness of body movements. Her classes begin with a thorough warm up that has a strong emphasis on technique and control. She believes in individual attention and gives corrections often. The warm-up is followed by an across the floor that consists of a series of turns and jumps. The class concludes with a combination that can range in style from modern jazz to funk, focusing on personal style and musicality.
